Fred Dear Anne, I am writing this letter to thank you for the guidance you gave me. I was a perfect stranger in learning English, so i often am frustrated by studying this foreign language. Although I tried my best to enhance my oral English and writing skills, as you know this may be difficult for someone who has different culture and educational background to get a enhancement in the short term. Also in my hometown, the citizens in there speak cantonese which is very different from mandarin. So my poor pronunciation has other characters.
Thanks to your help, I belive that my writing English, to some extent, was improved. It is your valuable guidance that has enabled me to avoid certain grammar mistakes and make the essay more logical. I thank you very much for your kind help. Now I begin to pay my attention to my future course. Yours
